eLUX lab signed on November 2017 an agreement with the French company ENEDIS for hosting visiting M.Sc. students for short internship. ENEDIS is a public limited company, fully owned by EDF (Électricité de France), the largest French electric utility company. ENEDIS is responsible for the management and development of 95% of the electricity distribution network in France. ENEDIS will support in eLUX lab internships of their M.Sc. trainees.
Florian De Simone was the first trainee from ENEDIS hosted in our lab. He was in our lab for 2 months working on the design and the deployment of a Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for the control of Renewables (64 kWp PV field) and electrical storage system (25 kWh Li-Ion storage).
