SAndroidE is a java framework developed to let Android Programmers to use external sensors and actuators as they were embedded into the smartphone like the microphone or the internal accelerometers.
Thanks to SAndroidE our facilities are experimenting direct interaction between people and environment by means of smartphone and tablets through Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connections. In eLUX it is possible to interact with some system making a BLE connection between a smartphone and a gateway to send commands to some appliances.
